A dream-like spectacle that will enchant and enthral

A mesmerising masterpiece, fire-wielding acrobats, bell-ringing musicians and peculiar characters weave their way through the audience before being suspended on a huge musical chandelier that raises 50metres into the air.

This international award-winning show - featuring a baroque carnival, high-altitude hi-jinks and dazzling airborne architecture - was originally created by Gilles Rhode for the French Aerial Transe Express.

Known in French as Maudits SonnantsEnchanted Chandelier is an award-winning spectacle that has been performed across the world including at Singapore Arts Festival, Melbourne International Festival and the Quebec 400 anniversary.

We now bring all the dizzying excitement of this baroque funfair high-above our Georgian colonnades. A dream-like spectacle that will enchant and enthral.

"We are thrilled to be coming to Halifax for the first time on this fantastic occasion, the opening of The Piece Hall, a beautiful and distinctive space – ideal to show our Enchanted Chandelier.  Our show is a celebration so perfectly suited to the occasion and we look forward to the people of Halifax and beyond revelling with us this September.”
