Join us in The Piece Hall Courtyard as we welcome spring Ryeland lambs.  Meet the lambs and ewes and find out more about how their wool is used to make cloth.

Ryeland sheep are amongst the oldest of the established British sheep breeds.

Hand spinners and weavers seek out Ryeland wool for its texture and quality.

Unlike some breeds of sheep Ryelands are docile and very friendly.

Ryeland Lambs are some of the cutest lambs, they are very inquisitive and full of character.
