TOUR DE YORKSHIRE

The Piece Hall is proud to host the depart for Stage 4 of Tour de Yorkshire 2018.

The final decisive stage, the Yorkshire Terrier, will begin at The Piece Hall on Sunday 6 May, then continue through Halifax town centre before ending outside Leeds Town Hall.

Tour de Yorkshire is one of the biggest cycling races in the UK and a huge event in the international cycling calendar. Sporting greats from the cycling world will enter the main courtyard to sign on at the Podium used during Tour de France. This will be an opportunity to meet your heroes and see the bikes up close before the race starts. There will be a pop up from the Yorkshire Bank Bike Library, family workshops and entertainment into the afternoon so there is no need to depart with the riders! Cheer them on their way and enjoy the rest of the race on our big screen in the courtyard so you don’t miss a moment. Alongside this you can visit our independent shops, keep hydrated with a beverage or two and up your energy by feasting on some local food favourites. Further detail to be announced over the next few months.
