Good Morning Britain presenter and Citizen Khan creator Adil Ray OBE has been announced as a Patron of The Piece Hall Trust following his longstanding support for and interest in the prized cultural venue.
The well-respected actor, writer and broadcaster will join other eminent Patrons in acting as a key ambassador for The Piece Hall Trust.
As a respected voice with a large following on a regional and national scale, Adil Ray will help to raise The Piece Hall’s profile, introducing the venue to new supporters and increasing awareness of the Trust’s important work and key messages.
Joining the likes of DJ Graeme Park, British wheelchair racer Hannah Cockroft MBE and television writer, producer and director Sally Wainwright, Adil Ray will provide his valuable support around activity that The Piece Hall is undertaking across a range of important initiatives to promote the cultural venue on a regional, national and international footing. Working with The Piece Hall’s CEO Nicky Chance-Thompson DL, this will include supporting on important work alongside established ambassador Noor Ali, with aims to drive effective engagement across ethnic minorities and the wider population of Calderdale and the Yorkshire region.
