This month we are launching A Month of Giving, inviting visitors to donate toiletries and food to support local charities in Yorkshire. The project is inspired by the spirit of Ramadan, as a time for reflection, reconnecting with the community and donating to charities.

Visitors will be able to donate items at The Piece Hall Visitor Centre or at the North and West Gate. You can find more information on what charities we are partnered with and what items they require below.

If you do not live locally but want to support the charities through a monetary donation, you can donate online at their individual websites.

Please note:

  • We can only accept new, unused items
  • Food must be undamaged, unopened and be in date (both use by and best before)
  • Items can only be donated at the Visitor Centre from Monday – Sunday, 10am – 4pm or at The Piece Hall West and North Gate
  • Last drop-off is 4pm on Sunday 16 May
