We all love The Piece Hall. The people who work here. The businesses that live here. The wonderful folk that visit. In these difficult times it remains a beacon of calm and hope. We will be keeping the gates open until public health advice changes. However, there will need to be significant changes going forward.

From Monday 23 March:

All non-essential shops will close until further notice.

Essential retail will cover food & drink and soap & sanitiser products only:

  • Just Gaia
  • Leaf

All drinking & dining establishments will move to takeaway only:

  • The Trading Rooms takeaway menu
  • The Piece Hall Deli takeaway menu
  • Elder takeaway menu
  • G's Cakes
  • Gin Lane Retail shop only
  • Wine Barrel for wine takeout only

Whilst we are reducing whats on offer physically at The Piece Hall, where possible shops and takeaways will announce more details around online and telephone ordering and opening hours next week.

The Piece Hall Courtyard remains an important public space. However, we cannot allow any groups or gatherings in this space going forward. Please, please use this space responsibly to take a minute, find some quiet and collect food, drink and supplies.  The safety of all is our main consideration.

The Piece Hall will remain at the heart of Calderdale's amazing Yorkshire community and when we come out at the other end of this extraordinary time we look forward to welcoming all of you back in person. Until then, keep an eye out for online and telephone shopping information as The Piece Hall experience adapts.
