It's Volunteers Week and we want to say a huge thank you to all our volunteers.

We have 50 volunteers at The Piece Hall Trust who work with us in a variety of roles: Heritage Guides, Learning, Events, Oral History, Gallery and Welcome.

Since we've opened, The Piece Hall Trust Volunteers have devoted 2,571 hours of their time and helped with 1,529 young and 513 adult participants who have attended one of our creative drop-in sessions, welcomed 978 school children, and delivered heritage tours to 1,790 people.

Nicky Chance-Thompson, Chief Executive of The Piece Hall Trust says:

"The Piece Hall Trust is tremendously grateful to its wonderful volunteers. As well as providing a welcoming face to visitors to The Piece Hall, they support all our teams in various aspects of The Piece Hall’s work. They are our greatest (and most knowledgeable) advocates and as a charity, The Piece Hall Trust really couldn’t do what we do without them. Whether it’s delivering historic tours, engaging with local school children or helping us to stage world class events their work is invaluable. So from myself and the Trust - a big thank you!”
