Anne Lister Flower Laying
The whole Anne Lister community will come together for the annual laying of flowers at the sculpture of Anne Lister in the courtyard of The Piece Hall, remembering this iconic woman on what would have been her 234th birthday.
We will also hear Halifax Choral Society making their full Festival debut – of course with links to Anne Lister in her hometown. And our very own Anne Lister Singers might just make an appearance at the event too! We shall also be treated to some dancing from the newly formed Anne Lister Dancers: you might even be up for having a go afterwards when they will show us some moves to try for ourselves! Come along to this very special Anne Lister Community event and celebrate both Anne’s life and her legacy with friends, old and new.
