Stephen Morris (New Order) in conversation with Dave Haslam, plus DJ sets

Earlier this year New Order performed at a fantastic live event at The Piece Hall. Now there’s a chance to learn more about the legendary band at this exclusive evening featuring Stephen Morris (Joy Division / New Order drummer) in discussion with Dave Haslam (former Hacienda resident DJ, now an acclaimed writer), which will conclude with DJ sets from both our guests. We’ll hear stories about their lives in music, their inspirations, future plans, and best-selling books. Stephen’s two-part memoirs cover his Joy Division years (‘Record Play Pause’), and his time with New Order (‘Fast Forward’); Dave’s most recent writing project is his ‘Art Decades’ series (small format books on subjects including Sylvia Plath, Keith Haring, and Courtney Love). Their work will be available to buy on the night, and after signing session both our guests will take to the DJ decks playing their personal selections of past and future classics. Expect entertainment, and insights galore!
