Communities of Calderdale Exhibition 8 June 2018 to 30 August 2018

8 June to 12 August

This pop-up exhibition celebrates the 50th anniversary of St. Augustine’s Centre and highlights the incredible diversity which makes Calderdale a very special place.

The exhibition will display portraits and stories of people who call Calderdale home, be that through choice, birth or dispersal via the asylum system.

We will have various pop-up photography sessions where members of the public can add their face and stories to a growing collage and the story of St. Augustine’s Centre, a community centre who welcome all and work particularly with asylum seekers and refugees, will be also be told.

Photography sessions will be on Saturday 16 June, Saturday 14 July and Saturday 28 July, 11.00 - 13.00

Bring along a picnic of your favourite summer foods and join us for a get together in The Piece Hall Courtyard to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the St Augustine’s Centre. Visit the exhibition and learn more about their work. Everyone is welcome and there is no entrance fee. Just come along between 12noon - 2pm, and don't forget your best picnic blanket!
