CEO of The Piece Hall Trust Nicky Chance-Thompson has been appointed as the new Deputy Chair of the Mayor of West Yorkshire’s Culture Committee, which supports the growth of the region’s creative sector.
Nicky has been at the helm of The Piece Hall since 2017 overseeing the development of an outstanding arts, culture and community events programme transforming this unique heritage site into a world class visitor attraction.
She joined the Culture Committee as a private sector member last year.
Nicky Chance Thompson DL, Chief Executive of the Piece Hall Trust, said:

The Culture Committee comprises public and private sector members who meet quarterly to discuss and drive forward the Mayor’s pledge to lead a Creative New Deal for West Yorkshire. The next meeting will take place on Wednesday 26 January 2023.
