Covea Insurance

Halifax-based Covéa Insurance has embraced the opportunity to get involved and support this local project, boosting The Piece Hall Trust’s ambition to create a world class cultural, heritage and leisure destination in the region.

Covéa Insurance has strong roots in Halifax, recently completing the sympathetic restoration of another historic local landmark – A&B Mills at Dean Clough, investing over £14 million to create state of the art offices for 700+ employees.

James Reader, Chief Executive at Covéa Insurance said, “We are hugely proud of our local heritage. The Piece Hall restoration signals a cultural renaissance for this area, with the aim of creating a world class heritage and leisure destination. As a neighbour in the Halifax community, we’re delighted to be supporting the Trust to realise this vision.”

The Piece Hall’s Development Director, Wendy Carter said, “Covéa Insurance are one of the major employers in the town and we’re delighted to welcome them on board as a founding corporate member – we look forward to working together over the coming years to put Halifax on the map!”
