Rag’n’Bone Man – aka Rory Graham – rose to prominence in 2016 with the release of the worldwide smash hit Human which showcased a stunning blend of traditional blues, hip-hop and, of course, an incredible and era-defining voice.
He began collecting his dedicated fan base incredibly early on in his career, one that has continued to grow and sell out tours around the globe.
Having won the 2017 BRIT’s ‘British Breakthrough Act’ and receiving the BRIT’s ‘Critics’ Choice Award’ in the same year, Graham cemented his success with the record-breaking release of his 4x platinum Number One debut album Human.
A plethora of international accolades followed as well as and a further BRIT Award for ‘Best Single of the Year’ in 2018 for Human.
Life by Misadventure, Graham’s second Number On album with Columbia Records arrived in May 2021 and spent seven weeks in the Top 10. It was the culmination of more than a year spent writing and working with some of music’s true greats in London and Nashville.
The album boasted a renewed sense of purpose and an entirely new energy in singles such as All You Ever Wanted, Anywhere Away From Here, Alone and Crossfire.
Nicky Chance-Thompson DL, CEO of The Piece Hall Trust, said: “With his iconic songs and amazing voice, the Rag’n’Bone Man show is going to be very special. His clever blending of musical genres with a modern soulful sound means this is guaranteed to be a gig to remember. I can’t wait.”
Rag’n’Bone Man, who joins James, Embrace, Madness, Sting, War On Drugs and The Lumineers among the 2023 headliners for Live at The Piece Hall 2023 with many more artists still to be announced, has also confirmed a second Yorkshire date. He will play Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Saturday 24 June.
