The Piece Hall offers a unique retail and leisure experience, set in a stunning heritage landscape attracting footfall of 1.6 million a year. At the heart of the historic Halifax, this magnificent Grade I listed building will become the home of the independent. We’re looking for those delivering a high-quality and distinctive offer to help us create one of the most appealing shopping and dining attractions in the UK.

A self contained unit perfect as a café, bar or eatery, AE3 is located on the east wall and the first unit people will come into contact with when turning right after entering through the new east gate. Outdoor space leads directly onto the historic courtyard, with a chance to place seating amongst the stone archways and out into the piazza. The new east gate is expected to have high volumes of traffic with links through to the new Central Library, Industrial Museum, and the main visitor car park, Halifax Minster and railway station beyond.
